Behind the Glitz

The story takes place in a coastal city. Du Xinping (played by Song Chunli), the commissioner of the customs, wants to use her subordinate Haibin (played by Wang Jia) to commit suicide and pervert the law next week to thoroughly investigate the smuggling group headed by Gao Jinlin (played by Sun Honglei). Unexpectedly, all previous efforts were undone due to a traitor informing him. In order to bring down Du Xinping, Gao Jinlin unscrupulously carried out various conspiracies and tricks. Du was spotted one by one, and the sly Gao set his sights on Du's son Luo Liang (played by Lu Yi). Luo Liang has always been worried about his mother because his parents divorced. Now that his work unit is in recession, Gao Jinlin takes the right medicine and drags him into a smuggling gang. By the time Du Xinping finds out, it is too late. Gao Yiluoliang smuggled prohibited items to threaten Du Xinping, and used evidence to frame him and put him in jail. Surgeon Kou Jie (played by Li Renyi) was Du Xinping's former lover. He told Luo Liang that his mother was framed in jail, and Luo Liang was determined to redress for her mother. So, Luo Liang asked the surgeon Kou Jie to perform facial plastic surgery on himself, and he started his own revenge plan...
