Battle by the Red River

Set in the wilderness of the Midwest after the American Civil War, it describes the Texas ranch owner who decided to drive a large number of cattle to the northern state of Missouri with his adopted son due to the economic depression in the South. Unexpectedly, his adopted son fell out with him halfway, making the thousands-mile cattle drive even more difficult and dangerous.
