Rancher Jason hired gunman Cole to go to El Dorado to drive away the McDonald family living there so that he could seize the water there. Cole met his good friend Sheriff Halla in Eldorado. Sheriff Halla told Cole the truth, which made Cole understand that what he was doing was an evil deed that forced people to leave their hometown, and he decided to stop doing it. Due to carelessness, Cole killed MacDonald's son in an accident. The tolerant MacDonald forgave him, but MacDonald's daughter refused to let it go and injured Cole's arm. The guilty Cole left Eldorado. On his way back, he saved the life of the homeless man "Mississippi" and learned from "Mississippi" that Jason had sent another gunman to Eldorado. Cole hurried back to Eldorado and informed Hala of the news to put him on guard. Finally, the gunmen sent by Jason were eliminated, and Cole decided to settle in Eldorado.
