The Wire

Vincent Hanna (played by Al Pacino) is a detective of the Los Angeles Police Department's Major Crime Unit. He is actively involved in his work and shows no mercy in fighting crime. Therefore, his family life is in crisis and his current third marriage is also facing disintegration; Neil McCauley (Robert De Niro) ) is a professional gangster who has been around for many years. He is neat and ruthless in his work and leaves no consequences. He organized his men to successfully rob cash transport trucks, which earned him "special attention" from the police. By chance, Neil met graphic designer Edie, and they fell in love at first sight. Seeing that his subordinates all had stable family lives, Neil also wanted to take control of his own happiness, so he decided to quit.
