The Road Home

The story takes place in a small town in central Ohio, where Dench (Winona Ryder) is a very rebellious girl born here. Dench's parents left her very early, and she was raised by her adoptive parents. One day, the news that Hollywood star Roxy (played by Carla Gugino) is about to return to her hometown in glory spread throughout the town. Roxy came out of this town, and everyone in the town is waiting to see this big star. For Danqi, Roxy's return has another layer of significance, as she has always suspected that she is her illegitimate daughter. Danqi asked around to get definite evidence, but her adoptive parents didn't know about it, and Roxy's former lover Denton (Jeff Daniels) was also silent about it. Danqi decided to run away from home and intercepted Roxy on the way to ask questions.
