Only God Forgives

Julian (played by Ryan Gosling) fled from the United States to Thailand for a murder ten years ago and took refuge with his brother Billy (Tom Burke). ) opened a boxing club in Bangkok as a cover for underground drug dealing. Billy came to the attention of the Thai police for raping and murdering a sixteen-year-old Thai girl. The girl's father killed Billy at the instigation of police chief Chang (Vithaya Pansringarm). Julian and Billy's biological mother, Kristal (Kristin Scott Thomas), went to Bangkok to collect the body of her eldest son. The vengeful Christo was furious when he saw the weak and incompetent second son Julian, and hired a killer to get rid of a series of people related to Billy's death. Julian originally wanted to let Chang go and settle the matter, but under his mother's crazy stimulation and coercion, he had to participate in this bloody killing. This film is the second collaboration between director Nicolas Winding Refn and Ryan Gosling after "Drive."
