Servant

Tony (played by James Fox), who has just moved to London, hires a man named Barrett (played by Dirk Bogarde) as a servant at home, leaving him to take care of everything in the house. The smart and hard-working Barrett did not disappoint Tony, and soon gained the trust of his master. Tony's girlfriend Susan (Wendy Craig) does not like Barrett because she is vaguely aware of an unexplained ambiguous relationship between Tony and Barrett's sister Vera (Sarah Miles).
