The Last Journey

In the desolate Australian wilderness, on a long and straight empty road, an estranged father and son are on the road. Father Kevin (Hugo Weaving), a violent and sloppy middle-aged man, takes his ten-year-old son Chuck (Tom Russell) on this desperate journey. In order to escape a criminal incident, Kevin desperately chose to abscond. In the lonely and desolate deserts and wilderness of Australia, the two father and son not only have to contend and fight against all unknown factors in order to survive, but also face a father-son relationship that is sometimes close and sometimes antagonistic. Facing the dilemma of life and death, they are heading towards an unknown tomorrow. The film "The Last Journey," directed by Gryffindorvine, was adapted from the Australian Literature Prize novel.
