The film reviews Hungary's turbulent 20th century. A 92-year-old Hungarian woman reviewed her thrilling life in a conversation with her daughter, who was in her fifties. She grew up in a turbulent era in Hungary and fell in love with a handsome soldier at first sight. In order to avoid the conflict of the war, she moved 27 times in her life. The film presents this extraordinary personal experience with humor and tenderness. It is not only the personal history of one woman, but also the national history of Hungary.
