Swamp

Every year in February, heavy rains unique to tropical rainforests begin to fall in northwestern Argentina. The rain turns the vast forest into a swamp that is impassable to humans and animals. The hot sun shines on the swamp, and the heat and fog make it deathly silent. Mecha, a fifty-year-old woman, lives on the edge of this swamp. She and her cousin Tali run a farm here. They each have four children and a husband. The two families are struggling to survive on the edge of the swamp. However, this summer, two unexpected events made them face the challenge of survival...
