Daydream

Due to a burglary, the young policeman Seiichi Kurahashi (Shunsuke Osaka) ) gets acquainted with Chieko Hayuro (played by Misaki Nishijo), a girl with a somewhat mysterious temperament. In this case, Chieko lost a photo album alone, which worried her, and Cangqiao promised to find her lost property. Chieko works as an assistant at Hidaka Dental Department, and she has had a long-term affair with doctor Hidaka. Soon, the photo album was delivered to Cangqiao. He looked for Chieko again, only to find that the girl had already left her job. After some pursuit, the true identity of Chieko gradually surfaced... This film is adapted from the novel of the same name by the famous Japanese erotic writer Junichiro Tanizaki, and is a work commemorating the 100th anniversary of the publication of the novel. "Daydream" has been adapted to the screen three times before, all directed by the famous director Tetsuji Takechi. Kyoko Aizen, one of the directors of this film, participated in both the 1980 and 1987 versions.
