Red Planet

As time enters 2050, the development of modern civilization and the surge in population have overwhelmed the earth. The originally beautiful planet is no longer suitable for human habitation. In order to find a new place to live, scientists have set their sights on Mars, which has an environment most similar to that of Earth. In the past few decades, they have continuously launched unmanned spacecraft to Mars, trying to use modern technology to improve the relatively harsh living environment on Mars. However, when everything started to bear fruit, the machines on Mars suddenly malfunctioned, and the plan to immigrate to Mars was forced to stall. The condition of the Earth is becoming more and more worrying. In order to solve the problem as soon as possible, an expedition team composed of top scientific researchers such as Kate Bowman (Carrie-Anne Moss) and Robbie Gallier (Val Kilmer) was ordered to go to the red planet that humans have never set foot in.
