Die Hard 2

On Christmas Eve, McCarron (played by Bruce Willis) is waiting at the airport in Washington for his wife Holly (played by Bonnie Bedelia) to fly back for the holidays. However, he accidentally discovered a major conspiracy: Captain Shi of the special forces, who was dismissed by the Congress, led his men to rescue the extradited Central American drug lord General Ai. McCarron informed Captain Luo of the airport guard about this, but the latter's bureaucracy and stupidity prevented this from being stopped. Colonel Shi led his men to occupy a small church near the airport, set up a flight control center, and cut off all connections between the airport control tower and the air, preventing many passenger planes from landing. McCarron's wife, Holly, was on one of the planes at this time. In order to rescue his wife and the many passenger planes in the sky, McCarran had to make another arduous effort.
