The enemy must die

As early as 1912, German scientist Friedrich (Tom Burke) proposed the theory of "Pangaea", which means that all the continents on the earth were once connected together, and the current pattern was formed due to fragmentation caused by crustal movements. In 1939, even though the war was raging, the Germans dispatched a marine expedition to the Svalbard Islands in the heart of the Arctic to find more evidence to support this theory. In addition to Frederick himself and his assistant Lenny (Jeanette Hain), there were also scientists from all over the world on this trip. They set sail towards their destination under the leadership of a Russian captain (Sven Nordin). On one side is the endless ocean with clouds and waves, and on the other side is the ever-changing war situation. Everything that happens on the continent affects the delicate balance of the relationship between scientists.
