Borderlands 2001

During the Persian War. In the fog, a group of Bosnian soldiers approached the Serbian position. Unfortunately, they were discovered by the other side at dawn. Bosnian soldier Siki (played by Branko Djuric) was shot and rolled into the trench, while all his comrades died. The Serbian side sent a new recruit, Nino (played by Rene Bitorajac), to inspect the battlefield under the leadership of a veteran. The veteran inserted a bomb-type mine under the corpse of a Polish soldier as a trap. Siki, who found the weapon, suddenly appeared, killed the veteran and captured Nino. Soon the "corpse" suddenly woke up. Seeing that his comrades on the mine were helpless, Siki had no choice but to ask for help with Nino in the unclaimed land between the Bose positions. The United Nations peacekeeping force rushed to the scene after receiving help. The senior peacekeeping leaders refused to provide rescue on the principle of avoiding trouble. British female reporter Jenny got the news and used the power of the media to put pressure on the peacekeeping headquarters. However, the intervention of the peacekeeping forces and the media failed to reverse another tragic incident in the chaotic war. The film won more than 20 awards including the 2002 Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.
