Hannah (Brigitte Grothum), Abrasha (Elin Kolev) and Lelisa (Imogen Burrell) are three music prodigies with musical talents. Through music, the three have established an inseparable friendship. The war started without warning, and the German army captured Ukraine, which made Hannah's situation very embarrassing and dangerous. At the most tense moment, Lelisa convinced her family to take in Hannah's family, and the group was able to survive the bombardment. The Germans soon began their campaign of burning, killing, looting, and countless household items and musical instruments were destroyed. The German major loved music and cherished Hannah's talent.
